Dorothy Louise Arrington Hightower, 75, of Forsyth passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Pruitt Health Services in Forsyth. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Hightower at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. John Sewell will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2020, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born November 30, 1944 in Tifton, Mrs. Hightower was the daughter of the late Morris Arrington and Myrtle Hall Arrington. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Hightower and one son, Ken Hightower. She was a homemaker and loved to hunt and fish with her family at the Hunting Club.
Mrs. Hightower is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Luanne Hightower of Senoia and Keith and Lisa Hightower of Canton; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Hightower of Flovilla; two brothers, Darrell Arrington of Zebulon and Stanley Arrington of Tifton; ten grandchildren, Karen Hightower, Kevin Hightower, Karl Hightower, Leanne Powell, Madison Hightower, Trey Hightower, Christopher Hightower, Caitlyn Hildebrand, Amber Adams, Andrea Adams; and seven great-grandchildren.
