Paulo Da Cruz (94) of Taunton died September 18th at home under hospice care surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maria Candia.
He was born in Ribeira Alta, Santo Antao, Cabo Verde. Son of the late Bernaldo Neves and Maria Clarlota Da Cruz. Paulo worked in the construction industry building houses and enjoyed playing cards and was a sugar cane grower in Cape Verde.
Paulo is survived by 10 sons, Herculano, Ilidio, Rollando, Victor, Luis, Revelino, Adilson, Fernado, Paulo and Bernadino Cruz, 5 daughters, Maria Jesus Ramos, Rosalina Cruz, Marizia Monteiro, Helena Lopes and Madalena Cruz, (father of the late Mario Cruz), a brother Giraldo Neves, 4 sisters, Maria Antonio Neves, Maria Alicia Neves, Paulina Neves and Maria Neves, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services from the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Wednesday September 23rd at 11 am. Burial to follow in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, 235 Broadway Avenue, Taunton. Visitation from 9 am prior to services.
