Christine Danes Edwards, 87, of Norwood died peacefully on Wednesday September 16, 2020. She is the wife of Floyd T. Edwards.
Born on March 11, 1933 in Philadelphia, she was the only child of the late Christina (DiTullio) and William Danes. She spent her teenage years in Portland, Maine and met her husband, Floyd Edwards, at the University of Maine where she graduated with a degree in Education.
Christine enjoyed playing the piano and singing. A favorite memory was being able to sing with the Alumni University of Maine Choir at Carnegie Hall.
Christine also enjoyed her membership in the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, daughter Camille Ostman, daughter Nerissa Edwards and her husband James Sadwith, grandchildren Gabrielle Ciarcia, Austin Cawley- Edwards, Geoffrey Ostman and Sawyer Cawley-Edwards.
