Obituary

Dolores V. Demers 80, formerly of Burnside Ave. in Woonsocket died Wednesday in the Zamborano Hospital in Burrillville. She was the wife of the late Adrien Demers. Mrs. Demers was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorilda (Belleville) Ladouceur. She was a finisher for McGuill Box and then for New Metal Box retiring in 1996. Mrs. Demers was a member of St. Joseph Sr. Citizens, a Red Cross Volunteer for twenty years and a Volunteer at Zamborano Hospital since 1973.

Mrs. Demers is survived by two sons Richard Demers of Norton MA and Rene Paul Demers of Burrillville, a sister Vivian Nicholson of Woonsocket, and three grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.Visiting hours are Sunday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to Patients for Progress, Eleanor Slater Hospital/Zamborano Unit, 2090 Wallum Lake Rd. Pascoag, RI 02859-1813 in her memory would be appreciated.
