Baby Girl Skyelar Hope “Skye” Tanner-Durden was born and passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service will be held for Baby Skye at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Marty Mullis will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Baby Skye was the daughter of Tammy Tanner of Ty Ty and David Durden of Tifton. She was preceded in death by one sister, Kayleigh Ann “K. K.” Tanner-Durden, who passed away on May 30, 2019.
In addition to her parents, Baby Skye is survived by one sister, Ava Lynn Durden of Tifton; her grandparents, Michael Durden, Sr. and Bobbie Jean Garren, both of Tifton and Debbie and Donnie Robbins of Ty Ty; her great-grandparents, Bill and Betty Clements and Brenda and Henry Bearden, all of Tifton; her great-great grandmothers, Margaret Tanner and Catherine Durden, both of Tifton; her uncles, Timothy Tanner, Render Robbins and Colby Garren; and her aunts, RayAnn Robbins, Ashley Durden, and Lacoln Walker Thompson.
