Obituary

Aaron P. Smith, 45, died at home unexpectedly on September 11th. Aaron was the beloved husband of Sarah Amaral Smith, and the proud father of Celeste Smith.

Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, he was the oldest son of Christine Smith and the late Karl Smith.

Aaron graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1992, he went on to be a sponsored skateboarder, Master Tech for Volkswagen, an avid musician, artist, writer, and a member of The Road Devils Car Club.

In addition to his immediate family, Aaron is survived by his brother Adam and his wife Danielle of Easton, brother Nathan of Whitman, and nieces and nephews Haley, Paige, Rowan, and Parker. He also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins, and too many friends to count.

Aaron had a love for skateboarding, which surrounded him with many lifelong friends. He soon joined a band, King Dubious and Gash Station as the bassist, which helped him pursue his love for music. He had an interest in hot rods, which eventually brought him to the Road Devils. His warm and welcoming personality helped to bring many family and friends together. Aaron was the definition of ‘Full of Life’ and was always cracking jokes and clowning around. With his untimely and tragic death, may this serve as a reminder for all of us to check in with our friends and loved ones. Often times people are alone in a crowd, and even the Clown of Clowns is crying inside. We never know the struggles of another, and the more aware we are the more helpful we can be at preventing the untimely loss of a loved one.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Monday September 21 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. All other services are private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dubskeem Memorial Fund C/O Bridgewater Savings Bank, 29 Bedford Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333 to benefit his daughter Celeste. https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/
