George E. MacLeod Jr. (67) of Brockton passed away September 14th at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the loving husband of Marylou (Schifino) MacLeod.
He was born in Brockton, son of the late George MacLeod Sr. and Lorraine (Sheehan) MacLeod. George was a retired custodian for the City of Brockton and a member of the Enterprise Club in Brockton. He loved playing pool, darts, fishing, watching westerns and an avid New England sports fan.
In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 sons, Mark J. MacLeod of Brockton and Michael MacLeod of Rhode Island, (father of the late Matthew J. MacLeod), 3 daughters, Angela MacLeod-Ruo and husband Thomas Ruo of Bridgewater, Jamie MacLeod of Rockland and Ashley MacLeod of Brockton, a brother Joseph and wife Teri MacLeod of East Bridgewater, 2 brothers-in-law Eric Thomsphal and James and wife Libby Schifino of Tennessee, (brother of the late James MacLeod, Cheryl MacLeod and Joanne Byrns), a sister Kathleen Chapron of Taunton, 11 grandchildren including Corey, Colbey, Cameren, Caitlyn, Jamal, Josh, Silvio, Emma, Brooke, Alex and Ella, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Monday September 21st from 4-8 pm. Cremation to follow.
