Ann Marie (Brum) Pereira, 87, of New Bedford passed away Monday September 14, 2020 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Louis J. Pereira; they had been married for 69 years.
Born and raised in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel Brum and Anne (Silvia) Margarita, she lived in New Bedford for many years.
Mrs. Pereira was formerly employed as an assembler at C. P. Bourg in New Bedford until her retirement.
She was an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Louis; her children, Paul J. Pereira and Maegan Boyd; her siblings, Donald Margarita, David Margarita, Elaine Daveau, Marilyn Potvin, Doreen O'Neil, and Silvana Berube; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Michael L. Pereira, her grandson, Jason R. Pereira, and her sister, Nancy Santos.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 17th at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
