Ruth “Bermont” Taylor DeLille, 85, of Thomasville, formerly of Tifton, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at her daughter’s residence in Thomasville. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. James Miller officiating. Ms. DeLille will be laid to rest at First Baptist Church of Ty Ty Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Michael Woodard, Timmy Woodard, Chris Taylor, LaWayne Taylor, Johnnathon DeLille and Jordan DeLille will serve as pallbearers.
Born June 3, 1935 in Doerun, Ms. DeLille was the daughter of the late John Dennis Taylor and Ida Paul Taylor Woodard. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She was a homemaker and a member of Tifton’s First Assembly of God.
Ms. DeLille is survived by one daughter, Sharilyn DeLille and Olon Brinson of Thomasville; one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Angelnell Woodard of Tifton; one sister-in-law, Susie Mae Taylor of Tifton; two grandsons and their wives, Johnnathon and Christina DeLille and Jordan and Heather DeLille, all of Thomasville; four great-grandchildren, Jackson DeLille, Jude DeLille, James DeLille and Eleanor DeLille; three special nephews, Michael Woodard, Timmy Woodard and Chris Taylor; and a special great-niece, Chasity Taylor.
