
Lawrence J. Latour,86, of 67 Pleasant St., died Wednesday, Mar. 1
at his home.
He leaves his wife of 56 years Sophie A. (Sobaleski) Latour, a son Lawrence
L. Latour and his wife Lisa of Gaithersburg, Md., a daughter Linda L. and
her husband Peter Spencer of Spencer, two brothers Leo and Eugene Latour of
Spencer and a sister Shirley Sears of W.Boylston, six grand children, many
nieces and nephews.
Mr. Latour was a shipper and receiver at Reed Rolled Thread & Die Co. in
Holden where he worked for 26 years, retiring in 1981. He was an Army
veteran of WWII serving in the European Theatre.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of Edward and Malda (Lizotte) Latour.
The funeral will be held Saturday, March 4 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of
the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen
of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. A calling hour will be held on Saturday
from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
