Obituary

CHICOPEE – William Raymond “Bill” Kenney, FSA, 33, of Houston, Texas and a longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Tuesday, September 1, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born in Holyoke on April 17, 1987, a beloved son of Christopher Patrick Kenney and Christine Ann (Hebert) Kenney of Chicopee. He was raised in Aldenville and graduated from Saint Patrick Elementary School in Chicopee Falls and Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 2005. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2009 and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Western New England College. He furthered his education and attended the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas where he was a teaching assistant and received his Master’s Degree in 2012. He was employed as an Actuarial Consultant for several companies in Texas and worked for Moody’s Analytic and most recently worked for Oliver James Legal and General America. He was a member of the Actuarial Society. Most of all, he loved his family and his many friends. Besides his loving parents, he leaves his loving grandmothers, Theresa M. (Boudreau) Hebert of Chicopee and Marguerite (Quinn) Kenney of Palmetto, FL; his loving sister, Amanda L. Dumais and her husband, Donald, of West Springfield; his cherished niece and goddaughter, Hannah May Dumais; his loving godparents, Raymond V. Hebert II and his wife, Barbra, of South Hadley; and his many dear uncles, aunts, cousins and extended members of the Kenney and Hebert families. He was predeceased by his loving grandfathers, Raymond Victor Hebert who was Called Home on August 2, 2008 and William Edward Kenney who was Called Home on June 19, 2016; his dear aunt, Donna Marie Hebert who was Called Home at the age of 6 years old on August 25, 1971; and his two dear cousins, Brian Kenney and Cate Kenney. His funeral services and burial will be private. His funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
