David Allen Howard, 56, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
A family visitation will be held 10 AM until Noon on Saturday, September 12, 2020, at The Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Howard was born July 22, 1964, in Homestead, Florida, to Veronica Barnes Ryckman and the late Durwood F. Howard, Sr. He worked as a truck driver and had lived in the community for the past several years. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kitty Lynn Howard of Pace, Florida; daughters: Marley Christine Lafferty & Thomas of Fitzgerald and Samantha Danielle Mitchell & Calvin “Bubba”, Jr. of Fitzgerald along with their mother, Tammy Young of Ocilla; grandchildren: McKenzie Bowen, Isabella Merritt, Colby Howard, Destiny Howard, Addilynn Mitchell, and Melody Mitchell; his mother, Veronica Ryckman of Locust Grove; and siblings: Durwood F. Howard, Jr. & Teresa of Tallahassee, Florida, Tina Marie Howard Gay of Adel, Susan Lorraine Howard & Rocky Bundrick of Fitzgerald, and Ronda Lavender & John, III of Fort Myers, Florida. Several nieces and nephews including Elaine Conner, Amber Turner, Terry Vinton, II, Brittney Hand, Shane Howard, Christopher Howard, Joseph Howard, Amanda Rucks, Marcie Thompkins, Brandon Lavender, and Caleb Lavender also survive as well as several great-nieces and nephews and a close friend Walter Sellers of Locust Grove. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Rebecca Howard.
