Beverly (Augustine) Freitas, 82, of New Bedford died September 8, 2020 at Hathaway Manor.
She was the wife of the late Raymond Freitas.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Rego) Augustine, she lived in New Bedford all her life.
She was a devoted mother.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Freitas and his wife Kim of Centerville and Kevin Raymond Freitas also of Centerville; a sister, Carol Ann Stiponavich of Amherst, Ohio.
She was the sister of the late Kenneth Augustine.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday, September 14th at 8:45 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church in New Bedford at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, September 13th from 3-5 PM.
