Marie McDonald Gordon, age 75, of Water Valley, MS passed away in Baptist Memorial Hospital N-MS in Oxford, MS on March 1, 2006. The daughter of Arthur Alvie McDonald and Govie Jenkins McDonald, she was retired from Big Yank Corp. Mrs. Gordon was a member of The First Methodist Church of Water Valley and Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W of Water Valley.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Friday evening, March 3, 2006, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home. Brother Ed Burns will be conducting the service with interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.
Mrs. Gordon is survived by her three children: Wanda Gordon Burns of Water Valley, MS, Angie Gordon Fiveash of Marietta, GA and Danny Gordon of Northport, AL - brothers: Aubrey McDonald of Water Valley, MS, Riley McDonald of Hollow Rock, TN and Lawrence McDonald of Highlands, NC - Grandchildren: Stacy Faught, Debbie Ditto, Kevin Gordon, Brandon Burns, Corey Burns, Kelly Burns, Cameron Fiveash and Lauren Fiveash - Great grandchildren: Devan Pickett, Austin Faught, Kayla Burns, Emily Faught, Abigail Burns and MiKayla Ditto.
Preceding Mrs. Gordon in death in addition to her parents, were: Husband- Hugh Ferrell "Red" Gordon (April 29, 1991) and brothers: Russell McDonald, Cecil McDonald, Ray McDonald, Leon McDonald, Forest McDonald, Paul McDonald and Carl McDonald.
