Douglas A. Piehl, 68, passed away September 4, 2020 after being stricken in his home. He leaves behind his wife, Theresa (Garceau) Piehl, a son, Caleb W. Piehl of Fairhaven, a daughter, Brianne J. LeClair and her husband Seth of Warren, 5 grandchildren, a brother, Michael P. Piehl of Charlton and a sister, Susan D. Prunier of Brimfield.
He was born in Webster, November 24, 1951 son of the late Paul E. and Edith L. (Moir) Piehl.
He graduated from Charlton High School in 1969, then served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam Era from 1969-1971 and was Honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Fallon Clinic.
Douglas enjoyed surfing, photography, playing volleyball, traveling and reading as well as the Marine Corps.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
