Lucille P. (Denault) Walker-Morris, 93, of New Bedford died Wednesday March 1, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Henry Walker, Sr.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Moise and Celina (Boucher) Denault, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Walker-Morris was a member and past president of the Presidential Heights Senior Citizens Club, Past member of the Silver Haired Legislature, an honorary member of the National Council of Senior Citizens of Washington, D.C., and a member of the Gold Card Honor Roll. She was an Air Force mother, having had five sons serve in the U.S. Air Force, one of which was the late Henry Walker, Jr.
Survivors include 4 sons, Robert W. Walker of Deerfield Beach, FL, Lawrence F. Walker of New Bedford, Richard L. Walker of Renton, WA and Raymond B. Walker of Sarasota, FL.; a sister, Doris Barselou of New Bedford; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be private.
