Lawrence J. “LJ” Hadfield, Jr., 60, of Glenwood Avenue in Cranston passed on August 27th.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Lawrence J. and Marie A. (Servant) Hadfield. He had lived in Cranston previously living in Smithfield. LJ was a self-employed construction specialist.
He was an avid hockey player, playing in several adult hockey leagues for over 30 years. When he was not working LJ enjoyed spending time on his boat.
He leaves his children, Cameron J. Hadfield of Wakefield, Lindsay M. Hadfield of Wakefield, his siblings, Karen M. Pomfret of South Attleboro, Ma, Philip Hadfield of Cranston and Mark Hadfield of Towne and Country, MO. He also leaves his ex-wife Rene Hadfield of Wakefield. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, September 4th at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Face Masks are required in the church as well as social distancing and similar health and safety measures will be observed. Visitation Respectfully Omitted. Burial will be Private.
