SPRINGVALE- Marjorie Johnson, age 97, died August 27th, 2020 at the Lodges in Springvale, Maine.
She was born June 30, 1923 to parents Herbert and Louie Whitehouse of Berwick,
Maine. She attended Berwick schools and after graduating high school, went to a
business school.
She married Leslie Babb and had 2 children, Beverly Ann Babb and Steven Herbert
Babb. Later, she married Allen Johnson who had 4 children. After all the children left
home, Marjorie and Allen moved to Oquossoc, Maine.
Marjorie was an accomplished knitter and made beautiful sweaters and mittens for
her family.
She was predeceased by both husbands and her sister Stella Whitehouse.
She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Babb Goodson of Charlotte, NC, her son,
Steven Babb of Tenants Harbor, Maine, grandchildren Ty Babb of Tenants Harbor,
Maine, Carmen Bombeke of Camden, Maine and great grandchildren Marley Babb, and
Zephyr Bombeke.
