Audrey A. (McLaughlin) O'Donnell, a 44 year resident of Saugus and formerly of Everett and Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 84 years of age.
Audrey was born in Boston on May 7, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles McLaughlin and Florence (Luxton) McLaughlin. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from high school. Audrey enjoyed shopping, frequenting the casino in her spare time and was always willing and able having a good time with her children and grandchildren.
Audrey is the beloved wife of the late Hugh R. "Quie" O'Donnell. She is the devoted mother of Hugh O'Donnell and his wife Lauren, Colleen DiGirolamo and her husband Edward and Shawn O'Donnell. She is the loving Nano to Ryan, Shane, Christine, Caitlin, Kylie, Kellie and the late Kevin. She is the beloved sister of the late Violet, Virginia, Joan, Fred and Kenny. She is the aunt and loving friend of Janie Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Audrey's Funeral on Saturday morning September 5, 2020 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Her visiting hours will be on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home. (FACIAL COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED INSIDE CHURCH AND FUNERAL HOME.)
