Yvon J. Dion, age 80, passed away peacefully from his home, surrounded by family on August 16, 20202. He was born on Oct. 6, 1939 in Drummondville, Canada, a son of the late Alfred and Angela (Roger) Dion. Yvon worked for the office of Rexam Graphics in the #3 Mill for many years before he retired. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fairview Council #4044. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Danielle (Blanchette) Dion of Chicopee; one son Marc Dion of Waldor, MD; one brother Rene Dion of Canada; two sisters Michellin Dion and Christiane Dion of Canada; 4 grandchildren, Marcel, Rachel, Jacqueline and Carol along with 5 great grandchildren River, Layla, Julie, Tyler and Mason. He is predeceased by his son Andre Dion and two brothers, Jean and Christian Dion. A Memorial Mass will be held in St Rose de Lima Church at a later date.
