Raymond M. Houle, 64, of Fairhaven passed away Thursday August 27, 2020 after a brief illness. He was the husband of Valerie (Cardoza) Houle; they had been married for 30 years.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of the late Leo and Loretta (Marchessault) Houle, he lived in Fairhaven for many years.
He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Fairhaven.
Raymond was employed as a cook at Rochelle’s Restaurant in Acushnet.
He enjoyed camping, attending car shows, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Valerie; two sons, Daniel Houle and his companion, Tesleanne Franco, and Jacob Houle and his wife Tori; his loving grandson, Jackson; his sister, Janet Gawthrope; his “second sister”, Maureen Magan; and in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Paul Houle.
A private family Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Fairhaven. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
