Fall River – Antone Oliveira, age 77, passed away on Saturday August 22, 2020. Born in Sao Miguel Acores, he was the son of the late Jacinto and Mariana (Andrade) De Oliveira, and loving husband of Louise (Varao) Oliveira. Antone was an avid Benfica fan, enjoyed trips to the casino and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Elizabeth Ploude (significant other Duarte Costa) of Swansea, Lynn Castro (husband Paul) of Fall River, Colleen Da Costa (husband Michael) of Somerset, siblings: Frank Oliveira of Somerset, Arnold Oliveira of Dighton, Jose De Oliviera of Somerset, Filomena De Oliveira of New Bedford, and Dennis Olivera of Florida, grandchildren: Kyle Parker, Brittany Barratt, Jocelyne Kiendra, Lyndsey Kiendra, Jamie Da Costa, Tabitha Da Costa, Liam Da Costa and Samantha DaCosta, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Jacinto Oliveira, John Oliveira, and Alfonso Oliveira.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, August 26th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Santo Christo Church at 10 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours on Tuesday, August 25th from 4-7 P.M.
