FALL RIVER… Frank T. “Timmy” Knight, 55, of Fall River passed away August 20, 2020 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with brain cancer
Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Dorothy Trotman.
Mr. Knight had worked as a Laborer for Cottrell Brothers in Tiverton RI. He was known to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and was an avid New York Giants fan. He enjoyed walking around the city, going shopping, riding his bike, watching NASCAR, attending his godson, Kaccie’s baseball games, traveling to Myrtle Beach, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter: Amanda Ireland of Warwick; his son: Frank T. Knight, Jr. of Indiana; his godson: Kaccie Hobbs of Fall River; his brothers: Michael Knight, Charles Knight, Wayne Wilding and Robert Silvia, all of Fall River; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rebecca “Becky” Charron.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 9 – 11 AM, prior to the service.
