New Bedford – Cory Joseph Levrault, age 42, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home. Born in Fall River, MA he was the beloved son of Felix Levrault and Doreen (Santos) Levrault.
Cory had been a graduate of Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School. He had gotten his CDL License over the past couple of years and currently worked as a truck driver for the Depina Brothers Co.
Cory was affectionately known amongst his family and friends as “ Story Cory” for always sharing a “story” that was guaranteed to make people laugh. He touched so many hearts over the years and was truly loved by so many. Cory will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family and his close friends.
Cory is survived by his parents, Felix and Doreen; his 2 children, Madison R. Gomes and Navayah Levrault; his sister, Kimberly Morro; nieces, Caitlyn Pacheco and Vanessa Viveiros; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cory’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. His funeral service will be held on Saturday morning in the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 A.M. with a service to take place at 10:15 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family has kindly requested that all attendees to please abide by the social distancing requirement and to please refrain from any type of handshakes, hugs and/or any physical contact. They thank you in advance for your cooperation.
