Myrtle Malnar Vonk, 96 of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, August 17, 2020 at her residence.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Vonk was born October 3, 1923, in Warren, Minnesota, to the late George & Louise Andresen. After graduating high school, she became a waitress. Mrs. Vonk moved to the community six years ago from Minooka, Illinois.
She is survived by three daughters: Sharon & Clarence Musch of Fitzgerald, Dawn & Rick Arambasich of Shannon, Illinois and Renee & John Fink of Joliet, Illinois; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Antone Malnar, who died on their 50th wedding anniversary; her second husband, Bernard “Bernie” Vonk; a son, Duane Malnar and a daughter, Debbie Malnar.
