Edilberto Roman, age 71, passed away on August 5, 2020. He was born on Sept. 24, 1948 in New York, a son of the late Alejandro Roman and Maria Elena (Vasquez) Rivera. Edilberto worked as a cook for many years. He served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He leaves his brother Jesus Roman and his wife Madeline of Chicopee. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by a Funeral Home Prayer Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chicopee Veteran Affairs Department, 36 Center St, Chicopee, MA 01013.
