Joseph Nelson Hoyt, age 88, of Medford passed away peacefully of natural causes on Friday, August 7. A lifelong resident of Medford, he was the son of the late Nelson and Rose (Consolmagno) Hoyt. Joseph proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War, after which he was employed as a Buyer for J. L. Hammett, Co. Joseph will be remembered as a nice guy by all who knew him.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Richard Stone of Medford, and the dear cousin of Marie Consolmagno of Waltham and Arline Lumbgarlington of N. Reading. He is also survived by many loving friends and relatives. Joseph's funeral services will be private.
