Marilyn D. (Ferreira) Riley, age 75, of Medford passed away on Thursday, August 6th. A lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Medeiros) Ferreira. Marilyn spent many years working as a child-care provider. She enjoyed Bristol, NH vacations with family and friends, and trips to the ocean with visits to Kelly's Restaurant. Marilyn cherished her family and loved talking with her grandchildren. She would always say how proud she was of them. Marilyn was kind, giving and loving. She was always smiling and her smile and laugh were infectious.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of Joseph H. Riley, and the devoted mother of Joseph M. Riley and his wife Diane of Medford, Linda M. Capone and her husband Anthony of Andover, and Daron P. Riley and his wife Beverly of Manheim, PA. She was the loving grandmother of Lauren Podymaitis and her husband Paul of Somerville, Brittany Riley of Medford and her significant other Bobby Fraioli, Konnor Riley of Medford, Bianca Capone of New York, NY, Erin, Aadyn and Camren Riley of Manheim, PA, and she was the great grandmother of Jaiden Podymaitis. Marilyn was the dear sister of Patricia Bates and her husband William of Medford, and the late Lionel Ferreira. She is survived by loving nieces and nephews.
