Obituary

Miriam E. (Dunn) Quinn, age 85 passed away peacefully on August 3rd, surrounded by her family. Born on September 24, 1934 to the late Francis J. Dunn and the late Ellen A. (Flynn) Dunn, Miriam grew up in Stoneham, MA. She was a graduate of Stoneham High School and worked for the New England Telephone Company in Boston before starting her family.

Miriam was the beloved wife of the late Alexander J. Quinn with whom she shared 46 years of marriage and a lifetime of love. She was the devoted mother of Thomas Quinn of Medford, Jean McCormack and her husband Don of Dartmouth, MA and Michael Quinn and his wife Palmira of Concord, NH. She was the loving Nana of Shannon Quinn, Sean Quinn, Stephanie Cameron, Erin McCormack, Sarah McCormack, Daniel McCormack, Alison Schaub and Adrienne Quinn. Miriam also had the blessing of six great grandchildren. She was the loving sister of the late Robert F. Dunn and his late wife Carole of Andover, MA and Francis J. Dunn and his wife Sue Ellen of Littleton, NH. Additionally Miriam leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Miriam enjoyed her life and family in Medford. She spent many happy years in a second career working for the late Dr. Ralph Goldstein of Medford. She volunteered in St. Raphael School while her children were students there and she volunteered her time in the St. Raphael Food Pantry. She was an active member of the Medford Boat Club Women’s Bocce team and her Stoneham High School reunion committee.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to gather at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St Medford on Monday, August 10th from 9:30 to 10:30 am followed by a funeral Mass celebrated at Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford MA at 11:00 am and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Masks are required to enter the funeral home and the church. For those who cannot attend in person, the Mass will be livestreamed.
