Lucille M. Poirier, 89, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday August 4, 2020 after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Gaston Poirier and Doris (Potter) Magan, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Lucille was formerly employed by the Social Security Administration in Downtown New Bedford for over 50 years until her retirement.
She enjoyed going to the Dartmouth Senior Center where she sang in the choir. She also liked to exercise.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila D. Lopes of New Bedford; her grandson, Thomas Lopes of Portsmouth, RI; and a great-granddaughter, Nicolette Dubois.
