Joe B. Fleming, 74, of Londonderry, NH, died Tuesday August 4, 2020 in his home after a period of declining health. He was born in Dallas, TX on September 28, 1945, a son of Joe and Ruth (Henley) Fleming, Sr. Joe spent much of his life in Richardson, Texas, where he was a 17 year veteran of the Richardson Police Department, prior to joining the business world in supply chain management and logistics. During his tenure with the RPD, he launched the first Student Resource Officer program in the Richardson Independent School District, at Berkner High School in Richardson in 1985. He was loved dearly by his family and the many students and kids that he impacted throughout his law enforcement career.
He was a proud Grandfather of five, and very loving Dad of his two kids, Gina and Brian. Joe spent the last 10 years of his life with his loving girlfriend (Linda) in Londonderry, NH. Joe was from TX, but always at home in the Northeast, as he loved that part of the country.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
