Anna O. (Oliveira) Gonsalves, age 105, of New Bedford passed away on Saturday August 1, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Antone Gonsalves.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Joanna (Conceicao) Oliveira.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Paula Lopes, Theresa Ganeto, Mary Ramos, Barbara Rose, and Virginia Mack.
Anna was an active member of Our Lady's Chapel for over 45 years. She was a devout Franciscan.
She was employed for many years by the Alpert family.
Anna is survived by her Godchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who were more like her own children. She is also survived by many dear friends.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday August 13, 2020 at 9 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
