Donna Lynne Blalock, 57, of Chula, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center from Covid 19.
She was born on March 24, 1963 in Albany to James L. "Roy" and Shirley Blalock. She was a 1981 Graduate of Worth County High School and a 1999 graduate of North Georgia Technical College. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Willie Frank and Alma Blalock of Sylvester and David and Mildred Carswell of Doerun; uncles, W. H. Blalock and Clyde Blalock; and sister-in-law, Debbie Lynn Blalock.
Survivors include her mother, Shirley Carswell Blalock of Alto; her father James l. "Roy" Blalock of Enigma; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory Frank and Santana Garner of Tifton; newborn granddaughter, Dixie Stacylynn Garner of Tifton; her fiance’, Alan Croft of Chula; sisters and brother-in-law, Greg and Sharon Canup of Alto, Kimberly Hain of Enigma; and brother, Frank Blalock of Alto. She is also survived by her niece and her husband, Tiffany and Josh Brown of Alto, Dream Hain of Cornelia, Dane Culver of Cornelia; step-niece, Katrina Whitfield of Cornelia; and great-niece and nephew, Patience and Damian Brown of Alto. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Pete and Sue Carswell, Rueben and Louise Bargfrede, Troy and Dorothy Suggs, Lindia Faye Blalock, Roger Collins, as well as her former husband and father of her son, Wayne "W. A." Garner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
