Shelby Renae Powell, age 49, of Brodnax, Virginia passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020. She was born on October 8, 1970 in Emporia, Virginia.
Renae attended Easters United Methodist Church in Boydton, VA. She was a former cafeteria worker at the Chase City Health and Rehab Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Ray Phillips and her brother, W.J. Phillips.
Renae is survived by her mother, Kathy Allgood (Milton); daughter, Katelyn Elizabeth Powell of Keysville, VA; father of her daughter, Kenneth Powell; special friends, Johnny Bauer; brothers, Tim Allgood, Todd Allgood (Karen), Trent Allgood (Claudia), and Mark Allgood (Shona); sister, Karen Church (Joey); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Crestview Memorial Park, 18599 Highway One, LaCrosse, VA 23950.
