Kimberly (DeStefano) Smith, 55, of Lynn passed away at home on July 16, 2020.
Born in California, Kim was the daughter of the late Irene DeStefano of Ipswich and Ronald DeStefano of Wakefield.
Kim graduated from Lynn English High School and started a career at General Electric. After G.E. closed her plant, she went on to graduate as a hairdresser from cosmetology school. In her youth, Kim excelled in competitive body building and went on to win and place in many competitions around New England.
Kim resided in Lynn for most of her life. She was known for her upfront, outgoing and energetic personality. She is survived by her brother Matt DeStefano and his wife Melissa of Danvers; her nieces Alexis and Madison Wise and nephew Cole DeStefano.
She also leaves behind an Aunt Linda Gayk and her husband of California, Uncles David Mandravelis of Maine and Philip Mandravelis and his wife Kathy of Maine as well as many cousins and friends.
She will be greatly missed by all the hearts she touched. "Live for today as tomorrow is never promised"
