Glenda Nichols Grizzard, 74, of Tifton passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Tifton Health and Rehabilitation. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Grizzard at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Oaky Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Garvie Nichols, Jr. will officiate.
Born March 25, 1946 in Tifton, Mrs. Grizzard was the daughter of the late Dovard Nichols and Aline Conger Nichols. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Nichols and Johnny Carl Nichols. She graduated from Berrien County High School in 1966. Before retiring, she was employed with Behavioral Health Services and she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Mrs. Grizzard is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Grizzard of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kaylee Kilpatrick of Piedmont, South Carolina and Mikeal and Jamie Kilpatrick of White Oak; one daughter, Angel Hudson of Sylvester; five brothers, Garvie Nichols, Kenny Nichols, Harvey Nichols, Calloway Nichols and Henry Nichols, all of West Berrien; one sister, Dorothy Grant of Enigma; five grandchildren, Joshua Kilpatrick, Justin Kilpatrick and wife Meagan, James Register, Brittany Hudson and Carl Hudson; and one great-grandchild, Easton Kilpatrick.
