MIDDLETOWN, RI… Linda M. (Eaton) Leite, 68 of Middletown passed away July 23, 2020 at Newport Hospital.
She was the loving wife of Joseph deMelo Leite.
Born in Chicopee, she was the daughter of Norma (Moreau) Eaton of Belchertown, MA and the late Edward Eaton.
Mrs. Leite had worked as a Personal Care Assistant and worked in various mills throughout the area. She was an avid animal lover who enjoyed raising and breeding Husky's and crafts. Though wheelchair bound for many years, she didn’t let it hinder her love for gardening, flowers and trips to The Dollar Store. Her greatest joy in life was her family with who she cherished spending her time with.
Along with her husband and mother, survivors include her daughter: Marie Leite (companion: Scott Botelho) of Tiverton; her sons: Joseph Eaton of Tiverton and Gil Leite (companion: Deedee Showers) of Fall River; her daughter-in-law: Patricia Eaton; her grandchildren: Don, Jr. Alyssa, Kyle, Tyler, Jared, Scott and Hayley; her great granddaughters: Rylee and Lily; her brother: Edward Eaton of Belchertown, MA; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Eric Eaton.
Memorial Service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 8 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6 - 8 PM, prior to the service.
