LEICESTER__ Robert “Pete” Paul Carroll, 77, of Leicester died on Saturday July 18, 2020. He is survived by a son Todd Carroll, sister-in-law Linda Carroll; three nephews, Brian, Matthew and Kelly; aunt Corrine Wennerstrand and many friends. He is predeceased by a brother, Terry Carroll. He was born in Worcester, a son of James and Lillian (Watson ) Carroll.
Mr. Carroll worked as a facilities coordinator at the College of the Holy Cross prior to retiring.? He previously worked as a product specialist for Baystate Abrasives. He was a former member of the Whitinsville Country Club. He was an associate member of the American Legion Post 318. Pete enjoyed off-shore boating, fishing and camping on Cape Cod with his close friend and confident Dennis. He enjoyed sports and was a staunch New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Growing up on Martha’s Vineyard he spent much of his time around the family run “Worcester House”. Pete will be extremely missed by his many friends, relatives and especially by his extended family, the McManus & Dailida’s. We all wish Pete “Clear Sailing”, “Tight Lines” and “Pleasant Memories” on his new journey.
