Obituary

Walter “Wally” Fasulo was born in Rockford, IL on Feb. 11, 1962 to Anthony and Fran Fasulo. When his father passed away, he moved to Minnesota to live with his brother Anthony and family. He attended Tartan Senior High School and met Rob Schwiesow who invited him live with his family. The Schwiesows welcomed him into their family and his family grew. He married Karen Olsen on October 8, 1983 and they had two children, Joseph and Emily and several other “adopted” kids that lived in their home.

He was loved by many including his daughter-in-law, Ruthey and granddaughter, Evelyn, his son-in-law Petey and his grandkids, Ziahiar, Ameriah and Tru; his special family members Scott (Rose) and grandkids Timothy, Ethan and Colton and his extended family and friends.

For over 30 years, Wally served as a volunteer firefighter/EMT (Oakdale) and a firefighter/paramedic (Maplewood, PT and Edina, FT). He was part of the Edina SWAT team as well as the Emergency Task Force of Minnesota.

After a short battle with pancreatic cancer, he went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 14, 2020.

Visitation Monday (July 20, 2020) from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Funeral Service Tuesday (July 21, 2020) 11:00 AM at GRACE CHURCH, 1310 County Rd.
