Arthur F. Lally, of Tewksbury formerly of Pembroke passed away sudden and unexpectedly at his home, July 10, 2020. He was 74 years of age. Born in Boston he was the son of the late John and Helen (Smith) Lally.
Arthur was raised and educated in Canton. For many years Arthur was a proud and talented member of the Pipefitters Union Local 537. He was a well-respected instructor for the union's apprentice program where he taught his trade to many future pipefitters. Over the years Arthur enjoyed traveling, both for work and pleasure. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed participating many bike rallies. However, his greatest joy was his family and he lived by the motto "Family First". He cherished spending time with his family on many vacations or just being around hanging out on the deck. He will be fondly remembered for his great sense of humor and love of his family.
Arthur was the devoted father of Krista Collins of Tewksbury, Scott Lally and his wife Theresa of Pembroke. He was the loving grandfather of Dyllan Collins and his wife Kaitlyn of Readfield, ME, Dalton Collins of Woburn, Kellie Collins of Woburn, Diane Lally of Pembroke, and the late Michael P. Lally. Loving great grandfather of Josie Mae Collins. Brother of Robert Lally and his wife Frances, the late John Lally and his surviving wife Terri, the late Carol Powers and her husband Paul, and the late William Lally. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, July 18th from 2 to 5 p.m. Services will conclude with a memorial prayer service starting at 5 p.m.
