Obituary

NASHUA---- Charles Alfred Johnson III, 84, of Wildwood Lane, Nashua, NH passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020, in Laconia.

Charles was born on November 23, 1935, in Saugus, MA, the son of Charles and Marion (Hebert) Johnson.

Charles owned and operated a computer consultant business. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marines. While living in Spring Hill, Florida he was an ordained minister. He enjoyed music, especially the organ, reading, and being a world traveler. He once lived in Belgium and Germany, while also spending time traveling to other countries; Charles was a licensed pilot and loved to fly in his younger years.

Charles is survived by his three sons, Chris Johnson, of Nashua, Craig Johnson, of Nashua, and Steve and his wife Lori Johnson, of Nashua; his three grandchildren, Sarah Gilbert, of Bedford, Michael Johnson, of Nashua and Steven Johnson Jr., of Nashua; and a niece, Lisa Young. In addition to his parents, Charles is predeceased by his loving wife Virginia Ruth (Bishop) Johnson, his brother David A. Johnson, and his sisters, Barbara Johnson Walshaw and Francis Cleary.

Adhering to the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire and the CDC, social distancing is strongly encouraged and face coverings will be required.

Services will be held at a later date in Alfred, ME.
