LIMINGTON- Glen Joseph Douglass, age 56, passed away on July 15th, 2020, at the Gosnell House after his courageous battle with brain cancer.
He was born in Framingham, MA on April 8, 1964, a son of Benjamin and Beverly Douglass.
Glen had various jobs but prided himself as a licensed electrician and operated Douglass Electric for many years after his father Ben retired and passed on the business. He had a big heart and was always there to help those he loved.
He enjoyed wood working, riding his motorcycle, water sports, weight training and spending time with family and friends.
Glen is pre-deceased by his brother Stephen Douglass who passed away in 2008 and his niece, Brittany Carter-Douglass who passed away in 2005.
Glen is survived by his wife Kimberly Douglass and Stepson Tyler Strout; his parents Benjamin and Beverly Douglass; Sister – Kim York and her husband Michael York, their son Michael York Jr. his wife Hillary York and their two sons David and James; Brother – Brian Douglass and his wife Michelle Douglass, their two sons Joshua Douglass and his wife KC Douglass and Christopher Douglass and his wife Kelsey Douglass and their two children Kyllian and Mylah; Sister – Linda Douglass and her Fiancé Marty Flaherty and her two daughters Cara Donovan and her boyfriend Austin West and Alyssa Park and her husband Sungmin Park.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Rt. 1, Scarborough, ME 04074 for their support and comfort of Glen in his final days.
