Kenneth A. Buteau, III, 29, of Long Entry Road, Chepachet, formerly of North Kingstown, died Monday, July 13, 2020 at HopeHospice and Palliative Care in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Kenneth A. Buteau, Jr. and Anne Marie (Parker) Buteau. He had most recently lived in Chepachet for 12 years.
He was a graduate of North Kingstown High School, Class of 2008 and his master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. He had worked as a Civil Engineer for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation.
Kenneth earned the rank of Eagle Scout from Troop 152 North Kingstown. He was a yearly participant in the Special Olympics Penguin Plunge.
Besides his parents he is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Visitation Monday 4-7pm at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Due to COVID restrictions please visit the family from your vehicle via drive up virtual visitation.
