LACONIA---- Jeanne Mance (Drouin) Dionne, 84, a resident of St. Francis Nursing Home, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Woodsville.
Jeanne was born on April 17, 1936, in St. Philbert, Quebec, Canada, the daughter of Emile and Rose (Groleau) Drouin.
Jeanne worked as a daycare provider and then as a housekeeper for Genesis Healthcare. She was a member of the Ladies of Sacred Heart. She was a lifelong communicant of Saint Andre Bessett and a member of the church choir. She enjoyed listening to French music, French cooking and most of all spending time with her family.
Jeanne is survived by her sons, Denis Dionne, Paul Dionne and his wife Meleya, Roger Dionne and his wife Kelley, Andre Dionne and his wife Laurie, Martin Dionne and his wife Colleen, and Raymond Dionne and his wife Judy; her daughters, Jeannine Jordan and her husband Peter, Michelle Stuart, Marie Whitty and her husband Daniel, and Renee Patterson and her husband Patrick; her brother Rock Drouin; her sister Emiliette "Mimi" Drouin; her fourteen grandchildren, Christopher, Sean, Scott, Danielle, Samantha, Emily, Anne, Justin, Makaela, Ashley, Isabella, Cameron, Devin and Nicholas; her two stepchildren and step grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jeanne is predeceased by her first husband of 35 years, Ernest Dionne on May, 19, 1993, her second husband Henry Lambert, on January 1, 2008, her brothers, Wilbrod Drouin, Ben Drouin, Claude Drouin, Henry Drouin and John Drouin, her grandson Alexander Dionne, and her son-in-law James E. Stuart.
Adhering to the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire and the CDC, social distancing is strongly encouraged and face coverings will be required. Only 50 guests will be permitted in the funeral home at one time.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 4:00pm-6:00pm, at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 10:00am at the St. Andre Bessette Parish- Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
