Obituary

TEWKSBURY – Mrs. Ann Louise (Carpenter) Palladino, age 95, died peacefully Sunday, July 12, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, after a brief illness. For sixty-four years, she was the beloved wife of Ernest Palladino, who died on Sept. 4, 2009.
She was born Malden one of six children of the late Frank and Gervasia (Gastragonia) Carpenter. She and Ernie raised their family in Melrose. She retired to the Heatherwood Senior Living community in Tewksbury five years ago.
Ann devoted her life to her husband, children and family, and will be fondly recalled for her incredible talents in preparing food, especially Italian cuisine.
She leaves two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Robert Van Menk of Holland, NL, and Paula and John Ramos of Derry, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Susan Palladino of Tewksbury; five grandchildren, Ryan Van Menk, Jasper Van Menk, Nicholas Vanelli, Michael Vanelli, and Mark Palladino; four great grandchildren, Vincenzo, Rocco, Giovani, and Kiki Anne; numerous nieces and nephews; and was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Sistilli, Tony Carpenter, Jean Salvatelli, Alba Puopolo, and Lillian Pulio.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her Funeral Mass, Friday, July 17, at 10:00 a.m. in St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte. 38) Tewksbury. Private burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at Cape Cod.
