New Bedford – Elvira Rocha, passed away Thursday February 23, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mrs. Rocha was the beloved wife of Marcelo Rocha Loved Mother of Maria DaSilva of California, Jose Fernandes of New Bedford, Elvira Lopes of Central Falls, R.I., Lucia DaSilva of Falmouth, Jacinta Funderbuk of Houston, Texas and Rosa Rocha-Saraiva of New Bedford .
Mrs. Rocha was born in Terceira, Azores, Portugal, Living in the New Bedford area since 1973. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria ( Ludivina) Ounrique
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday February 26, 2006 at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
