James R. Durfee, age 22, a resident of Brockton for most of his life, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 11, 2020.
Born in Brockton, MA on August 21, 1997, he was a loving son of Charlotte L. (Krakowski) Durfee of Lakeville and Michael L. Durfee, Sr. and his wife Nelly of Lynn.
James grew up in Brockton, was educated in Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School.
James loved spending time with his adoring family. His hobbies included fishing, boating, video games, pokeman and a passion for dinosaurs.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted brother and sister: Michael L. Durfee, Jr. of Fall River and Samantha K. Durfee of Lakeville. He was the cherished grandson of Kathy P. Willis of Columbia, South Carolina and is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday, July 16th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial will be private.
