Timothy Lee "Spot" Sanford

Timothy Lee "Spot" Sanford, 74, of Anderson, died July 9, 2020 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on June 18, 1946 in Anderson, the son of Betty (Hinshaw) and Harold Frances Sanford. He was a maintenance foreman at General Motors for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He served 4 years in the Air Force as a fire fighter, and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Tim enjoyed fishing, shooting, camping and was an animal lover.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Ann (Eutsler) Sanford, whom he married July 22, 1967; his children; Wes Lee Sanford, Chad Aaron (Valerie) Sanford, Christopher Jon (Michelle) Sanford; 5 grandchildren; Zachariah Andrew Sanford, Maddox Xavier Sanford, Shelby Rayne Sanford, Sydney Michelle Dillmon, and James Michael Dillmon; a sister, Judith Ann (Michael) Sanford-Jack; 2 nieces, Jennifer (Joe) Lucas and Amy Lowry.
He was preceded in death by his parents
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service is being planned for the near future.
