WORCESTER-Doreen R. (Allen) Chagnon, 69, died Wednesday, February 22 at UMass Memorial Healthcare-Memorial Campus.
She leaves her daughter, Lydean (Jane) Kaufman of Worcester; her grandson Shaun Howe of Worcester; three brothers, George and Edward Allen of Worcester, Thomas Allen of Albany, NY; two sisters, Lorraine Bleau of Spencer and Dorothy Fields of Worcester, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Thomas and Doris (Cormier) Allen. She was a coffee shop manager at Quinsigamond Community College. She loved music and traveling.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday, February 25 at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. from 2:00 until 4:00 PM with a prayer service to be said at 2:30 PM. Burial will be private. The family asked that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
