Travis Jay Izumi, 44, of Oxnard, California passed away on July 1, 2020. Travis was born in Los Angeles, California to Bruce and Pauline Izumi on January 28, 1976. He went to Pleasant Valley Christian Academy and graduated from Channel Islands High School in 1995.
He loved people and love his Redskins, Dodgers, and Lakers. He loved to talk sports with his friends and kept up with all the games faithfully. His enjoyment was to be around his family and his Godson, Kaynin.
He attended 1st United Pentecostal Church in Oxnard, California since 1987 where he was filled with the Holy Ghost and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at the age of 12.
Travis is survived by his parents: Bruce and Pauline Izumi; sister Midori A. Izumi; brother Justin C. Miller; Nieces Monique Angela Miller, Shai-an Miller, and Mariah Miller; Nephews Joel Miller and Nephew-Godson Kaynin D. Martinez. Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents Kiyoshi (Kay) and Midori (Dora) Izumi and Lester Sr. and Katherine Boyd.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all the family and friends who kept Travis in prayer, and to all the staff who were a part of Travis' care during his stay at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Oxnard.
